EMERGENCE Discovery and Threshold Programs are seeking a part-time (on-call) Relief Counselor in Eugene.

The Relief Counselor will cover groups and provide individual counseling and assessment as needed. The Relief Counselor will have the option to determine how often they would like to work, depending on need. This position is flexible but the Relief Counselor will still be able to utilize Emergence benefits such as paid training and financial support for certification and licensure.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide group and individual counseling
  • Conduct assessments
  • Manage records and other administrative or clinical responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Some weekday evenings required
  • Computer proficiency is beneficial as records are managed electronically
  • Must pass urinalysis and criminal background checks
  • A desire to become CADC certified

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
