Dave Hickerson is the Program Director for EMERGENCE offices in Linn and Benton counties and has been with EMERGENCE, formerly ACES Counseling Center, since 1983. He was instrumental in the creation of its programs and opening of its offices in Corvallis, Albany and Lebanon, beginning his work in DUII outpatient treatment.
The EMERGENCE offices in Linn and Benton counties have since evolved into outpatient and intensive outpatient programs. Recently there has been expansion into providing services in hospital settings for chronic pain and opiate replacement therapy with suboxone clients/patients as EMERGENCE has become the preferred substance abuse treatment procider for Linn and Benton counties.
Dave graduated from Corban University with his Bachelors Degree in psychology and has been a Certified Addictions Counselor with the State of Oregon since 1996. He is the 4 time recipient of the ACE Achievement Award and the 2 time recipient of the Azumano Inspiration Award. He has enjoyed the journey of growing with EMERGENCE over three decades.
